Pinterest

I decided to make a Pinterest board and collect a few interesting portraits that had a psychedelic feel to them. A few of these are figures within psychedelic music who I thought had interesting clothing and poses.

Although a watercolour painting I think that the way that the colours bleed into one another creates a lovely effect. I would like to somehow try and replicate this effect within my work.

I also particularly liked this photograph. I think that the colours work extremely well together as the blue hues in the hair compliment the altered colour of the skin tone.

I liked that this looks like it had been printed in a newspaper and then layered with what appears to be different coloured clouds. It has produced an interesting effect on the picture. I think that this effect would look quite interesting on a half bodied portrait too.
